Promenade di Jungho Lee 

Jungho Lee è un artista coreano che lavora a Seul come illustratore dal 2007. Il libro Promenade è una raccolta di alcune sue illustrazioni a tema libri. I suoi disegni mi hanno affascinato, li ho trovati poetici e delicati, intensi ed efficaci. Sono davvero tutti bellissimi, con il colore blu pastello dominante che profuma di nostalgia e di emozioni. Chi ama la lettura e si perde nel mondo incantato del racconto non può che apprezzare le sue illustrazioni e considerarle come una scoperta e una sorta di rappresentazione visiva di quello che si prova a ogni tuffo in un nuovo libro. Libri che volano, che si ergono in mezzo al mare, libri da cui spuntano fiori o fari nella notte, libri specchio della nostra anima, libri in cui entrare, libri da cui escono i personaggi, libri che ti fanno volare, libri con il sapore di un miraggio, libri musicali… Visitate il suo sito, ne resterete incantati!

Promenade by Jungho Lee 

Jungho Lee is a Korean artist based in Seoul and he worked as an illustrator since 2007. The book Promenade is a collection of his pictures about books. I was fascinated by his creations, I found them poetic and delicate, intense and effective. They are really beautiful, with dominant pastel blue that smells like nostalgia and evokes emotions. If you love reading and losing yourself in the enchanted world of a tale, you will surely appreciate these illustrations and you will consider them as a discovery, a visual representation of what you feel when you immerse yourself in a new book.

Books flying, books standing in the sea, books mirror of our soul, books where to enter, books from which come out characters, books making you fly, books with flavour of a mirage, musical books…
